ON THE SPOT: SPONTAENOUS SPEAKING & DEBATING

Ever walk away from a conversation thinking…

“Ugh—I wish I would’ve said that”?

Maybe it was at work, when a coworker crossed a line.

Or maybe it was just a stranger being rude—and you froze.

You’re not alone. Most of us were never taught how to speak up, stay calm under pressure, or defend ourselves clearly and confidently.

That’s what we’re here to change.

On the Spot: Spontaneous Speaking & Debating is a live, weekly practice space for building real-world speaking confidence.

We're ordinary people pushing past that “stuck” feeling and learning to respond with strength and confidence in everyday situations.

Free weekly sessions. Spontaneous prompts. Debates. Feedback. Growth.

Who We Are.

On the Spot: Spontaneous Speaking & Debating is a growing community where everyday people practice the skill most of us were never taught: how to speak up with clarity and confidence in real-life situations.

Whether it’s holding your own in a tough conversation, standing up for yourself at work, or knowing what to say when someone crosses a line—we’re here to help you stop freezing and start finding your voice.

Being put on the spot can feel nerve-racking. That’s why we’ve built a welcoming, structured space to practice thinking on your feet, sharpening your responses, and speaking with more presence—all without judgment, and at no cost while we’re in our pilot phase.

We’re not polished pros or seasoned debaters. We’re regular people, just like you, growing together—one session at a time.

Why Spontaneous Speaking & Debating?

You know that moment when someone says something rude…

and hours later, you’re still thinking, “I should’ve said this…”?

Whether it’s a pushy coworker, a passive-aggressive comment at dinner, or a stranger cutting in line—life constantly puts us on the spot. And too often, we freeze. We go silent. We walk away replaying the moment, wishing we’d stood our ground.

That’s what this space is for.

On The Spot is about helping you speak up in the moments that matter—with confidence, calm, and clarity. Not with a rehearsed speech. Just with your real voice.

Here’s what you’ll practice:

You don’t need to be a “public speaker” to benefit.

You just need to want to stop getting steamrolled in conversations—and start speaking up for yourself.

We’re here to help you practice that.
